Carrie Ashley Hill is from Texas and moved to NYC in 1998 to attend Parsons School of Design, where she earned a BFA in product and furniture design. She worked as a photo retoucher, made a line of fine porcelain home goods and created hand-made découpage for John Derian before finding her niche as a prop stylist and set designer.

She currently resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with her husband and son.
