Biography
Coco is a Creative Director/ Art Director living in New York City. Her aesthetic can be described as fashion-sharp with a tint of off-beat eclectic. An Art Director to her core, Coco is an endless curator in life, collecting distinctive moments with meaning and feeling which become the compelling visual storytelling in her work.
Coco’s career began as a Designer/Illustrator in LA and San Francisco – creating gig posters and album covers – and evolved to art direction primarily in the realms of fashion and beauty when she moved to New York. As the Global Director of New Media Creative at M.A.C Cosmetics, she partnered with backstage artistry teams at Fashion Weeks to capture original content of designer-meets-beauty trends, following global seasonal industry shifts. As a conceptual artist-first Creative Director, Coco also wrote, produced and directed a short art film for a digital video installation at the Moxy Hotel in downtown NYC, in collaboration with Interior Design and Architecture firm Stonehill Taylor. The film features “it girl” fashionista and DJ, Alix Brown, and shifts through scenes reminiscent of a dreamy, 60’s-esque go-go dance club memory-scape.
As a director for beauty shoots and video content, Coco is a veteran of industry practices with an unwavering eye for detail. As a campaign Creative Director she provides a strategic, unyielding vision with a capacity for seeing the bigger picture while maintaining an open, collaborative energy. As an Artist and Creative she’s interested in the ethereal, the shadowy, the unusual, the cool, and the striking.
Coco focuses on directing videos, photoshoots, social content creation and editorial pieces, and excels in crafting unique concepts for 360 creative campaigns spanning genres.
