Nikki Ferrara’s destiny as a master colorist began taking shape when she started changing her own hair color on a weekly basis throughout high school. She eventually moved from her mother’s well-stained bathroom to well-known salons, assisting Kyle White at Oscar Blandi and both Mei Wong and Brad Johns at Avon. But it was at Sally Hershberger where Nikki really started to shine as assistant to Marie Robinson, then rising to become hair colorist, color director, and director of hair color education.

Swiftly gaining a reputation for brilliant blondes, nuanced brunettes, and especially incredible reds, Nikki’s roster of celebrity clientele grew as she moved to Marie Robinson Salon as senior hair colorist. Her work on stars like Ellie Kemper, Olivia Wilde, Sharon Stone, Marisa Tomei, Mila Kunis, Elizabeth Olsen, Bette Midler and more became hair-color inspiration to millions, and screens lit up with the brilliant hair colors created by Nikki on shows like Jessica Jones, Search Party, Mr. Robot, Daredevil, and The Black List.
