Biography
London-born, Nina Fenton studied photography and film at London College of Printing which led her to assist director Mehdi Norowzian. It was during this time that she had the opportunity to style and work on numerous large scale TV commercials around the world. After four years as a director’s assistant, Nina left London to pursue her styling career in New York.
First working as a freelance stylist assistant on print shoots, she later accepted a full-time position with fashion editor Tiina Laakkonen. Working closely with Tiina on advertising campaigns as well as editorial shoots for magazines such as Vogue, Flair, and New York Times T Magazine, Nina gained the experience she needed to begin what has become a very successful freelance career.
In the time since Nina struck out on her own, she has quickly earned the trust of such clients as L’Oreal, Redken, Target, Aeropostale and Nike and has collaborated with many notable photographers including Lee Broomfield, Thomas Schenk, Dewey Nicks, Kate and Ben Watts.
Nina is based in New York City.
